Onion Casserole


I got this off one of my Facebook friends. It looks so good.

‎6 Vidalia onions

1 1/2 cps grated swiss cheese
1 lrg. bag of sour cream & onion chips ( crushed)
1 can cream of mushroom soup mixed with equal part of milk

Slice onions thinly and layer onions, crushed chips. and swiss cheese...for 3 complete layers in a greased 9x13 casserole dish.
Pour soup mixure over top. Bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 1 hr to 1 1/4 hrs. :-D

  1. I've made this dish several times. Lucky me my husband adores onions as much as I do. The last time I took the left overs and threw them into a pot of beef broth and made...you guessed it...onion soup.
